From TX Akihabara Station (TSUKUBA EXPRESS)

• From Akihabara station, take a TX train (45 minutes by rapid, 52 minutes by semi-rapid, and 57 minutes by local, 1,150yen ) and get off at the terminal, Tsukuba Station. Go out of the A4 exit and transfer to a local public bus or a taxi at the Tsukuba Center (Bus Terminal).

• From Ueno station, take a JR train (about 60 minutes by local) and get off Hitachino-Ushiku station or Arakawaoki station or Tsuchiura station and transfer to a local public bus or a taxi.
• From Hitachino-Ushiku station or Arakawaoki station or Tsuchiura station, take a JR or a Kanto Tetsudo bus to "Tsukuba Center".

From JR Tokyo Station (Yaesu Minami-guchi)

• From the Highway Bus Terminal at Tokyo station, take a JR or Kanto Tetsudo bus (about 65 minutes, 1,150 yen) to "Tsukuba Center" or "Tsukuba Daigaku (University in Japanese) " and get off at "Tsukuba Center" and transfer a local public bus or a taxi.

From Narita International Airport

• From Narita International Airport, take a Highway Bus to "Tsuchiura-eki"(about 100 minutes, 2,540 yen) and get off at "Tsukuba Center" and transfer to a local public bus or taxi.

• From Tsukuba Center, (1)take the Kanto Tetsudo bus (18 minutes) to "Kenchiku Kenkyusho (Building Research Institute in Japanese)" at the platform No. 5 and get off at the terminal, "Kenchiku Kenkyusho", or　(2)take a Kanto Tetsudo bus (15 minutes) to "Shimotsuma-eki" at the platform No.5 and get off at "Kyoin Kenshu Center" and walk 5 minutes to BRI, or (3)take a Tsuku Bus North Shuttle bus (15 minutes) to "Tsukuba-san-guchi" at the platform No.3 and get off at the "Oho-chosya" and walk 15 minutes to BRI.
• From Tsukuba Center, take a taxi (15 minutes, about 2,600 yen).Try to show the following phase to a taxi driver.It means "Please take me to the BRI."
