The robot for ARC Construction system (ARC:Automation-Oriented Reinforced Concrete)

With the graying of the Japanese population, a progressive shortage of younger workers will force the construction industry to rely more heavily on automation at the construction workplace to improve labor productivity. At this facility, research is undertaken on the development of building materials suitable for such automation, together with experiments utilizing those materia1s in actual construction models. Thus, Construction technologies are further developed from the perspectives of both structural design and construction method.
