Do-air Extrusion machine

Considerable attention has been drawn to the high functionality of fiber-reinforced cement composite products utilizing newly developed fiber materials such as carbon, aramids, and vinylon. This laboratory is equipped with an X-ray CT scanner, digital SEM, and advanced accelerated-aging test facilities for the testing and evaluating the properties and performance of various new materials; as well as other state-of-the-art instruments for studying and evaluating the fiber-reinforced cement composites. The testing conducted at this facility contributes to the body of research data necessary for the development of high-quality low-cost construction materials. Mixing and molding equipment of various types is also available to allow testing and experimentation on manufacturing methods for new construction materials.
