Outdoor Exposure site for building materials and components

This facility is designed for research and experimentation on the on the durability and weathering characteristics of building materials through actual exposure of test materials to sunlight, rain, and wind. The facility is divided into four areas for the testing of construction materials, parts, structures, and special-purpose materials respectively. Each area is furnished with material platforms, parts, stands, and moving platforms suitable for its testing purposes. Instruments are also furnished for the measurement of meteorological conditions such as sunlight hours, ultraviolet light, wind, and material-surface temperature.
