Earthquake engineering training

This laboratory has been contributing to international cooperation by training researchers and engineers from earthquake-prone areas in developing countries to study advanced Japanese Seismological research and earthquake resistance engineering. IISEE participants can study the principles and techniques to handle and maintain the broad band and dynamic range of seismic observation systems equipped in the laboratory.
