"Improvement of Prediction Accuracy for Wind Pressure Distribution and Development of Simulator for Indoor Air Flow Distribution Induced by Cross-Ventilation"

In the present study, we evaluated the accuracy to predict of the wind pressure distribution on a building represented by k-ε model as generally in use and demonstrated that prediction accuracy can be extensively improved by using the modified k-ε model by Durbin and RNG model in the case of a building with bluff body. The study was also performed on wind pressure distribution on a detached house with gable roof by using the modified k-ε model, and the results of the study revealed that accuracy was low for the wind pressure distribution on roof surface and that additional study should be performed such as the refining of meshes. For wind pressure distribution, the modified model by Durbin generally shows higher accuracy. Above all, for the building with bluff body, better results are obtained if the value of α (referred as Durbin’s limiter) is set to about 0.5. For the case with more complicated configuration, higher accuracy can be attained if the value of α is set to a range from 0.8 to 1.0. The modified model by Durbin also exhibits that prediction accuracy on ventilation flow rate is high when wind direction is not set to 0°. Based on CFD analysis only on indoor side by using local dynamic similarity model, an algorithm for the prediction of indoor air flow distribution induced by cross-ventilation has been developed, and the prediction accuracy was evaluated. For both cases of single room and multiple rooms, the results of the analysis agreed well with the results of wind tunnel experiment.

1999年 東京理科大学卒業。2001年 東京理科大学にて修士号(工学)取得。2004年 東京大学にて博士号(工学)取得。学位論文名「通風の力学的相似性に基づく高精度型通風量予測モデル」。2004年から助手として東京理科大学に勤務。
現在は通風の局所相似モデルの開発、建物周辺の風環境評価。通風気流性状。居住空間における温熱空気環境等について実験・数値計算による研究に従事。
