The Training on Environmental-Friendly Technologies Development for Building & Housing finished on October 14th 2011.

The Training Course on Environmental-Friendly Technologies Development for Building and Housing which had started on 23rd August, 2011 was completed on 14th October, 2011.

This year, 3 participants from China, Samoa and Vietnam worked their tasks enthusiastically. They completed all the programs including the study trip to Miyakojima City in Okinawa Islands, where they visited proposal houses for Hot-Humid regions and other various eco-houses.

On the last day of this course, the participants presented their Action Plans based on what they had acquired through this course. The Action Plan of Mr. WU from China was related to some energy saving in new residential buildings by new energy saving design standards in Jiangsu Province where he lives. He said that he would make a survey of energy saving technologies for new residential buildings after returning to his country.

At the closing ceremony, the participants received the congratulatory addresses from JICA and BRI. Mr. SIMI from Samoa made an address on behalf of the participants.
